Working while enrolled
The foreign students in France are free to get their job as long as they are admitted in an organization that joins in the health-care plan of national students. Those who are not citizens of EU member nations must also have a legitimate residency document. All students entitle to work including those new students who are studying in the country for the first time, those who are admitted in the program of university and as a full-time student in a language educational institution.
The system of rules permits the students to work 964 hours in a year, equivalent to sixty percent of full-time labor in a year.
Foreign students are also qualified for jobs in universities and other public organizations of higher education. Students are employed to impart the assistance of helping new students, helping handicapped students, conducting tutorials, giving technical support, organizing and providing cultural, sports and social happenings, performing in the professional center and promoting the plans of their organizations.
Student workers come after a timetable work in order not to hinder their studies. The agreement of employment described is modified to the needs of every student program in order to guarantee their academic performance and at the same time contributing job experience.
